Catherine’s Family & Youth Services has been offering neighbors in the Edgecombe community access to nutritious foods for years. Recently, the organization’s executive director Valarie Williams has been building pathways out of hunger by developing partnerships with local service providers that are helping locals address hunger’s root causes.
