Annual Holiday Box Packing Events

to Produce 15,000 Holiday Meals for Marylanders in Need

The holidays are coming soon and planning for our holiday packing events is in full force! This year, the goal is to produce more

15,000 holiday boxes across the state— a more than 200 percent increase since the event began in Baltimore in 2009.

Turkeys accompany each of these boxes, filled with everything needed for a holiday meal. They are partially funded through funds

raised through the
Annual Orioles Food & Funds Drive. The boxes are made available for distribution through our statewide

network of partners.

    Holiday Boxes include:

Applesauce (1 can)

Green Beans (2 cans)

Brownie Mix (1 box)

Instant Potatoes (1 box)

Corn (1 can),

Kale (2 cans)

Corn Muffin Mix (1 box)   

Macaroni & Cheese (2 boxes)      

Cranberry Sauce (1 can)

Stuffing (1 box)

Gravy (1 can)

Sweet Potatoes (1 can)

Corporations are asked to sponsor the event and provide volunteers for the packing day. Your company can make a valuable contribution to

the community and build morale through this spirited event. Many sponsors return year after
year for an event condusive to building


To meet this year’s increased demand, the event has expanded to include locations in Hagerstown and Salisbury, as well as the traditional

central location in Baltimore.
