Since 1988, the Campaign has raised over $2,400,000 which has benefited hunger–related initiatives and programs feeding thousands of individuals and families across Maryland. The Maryland Food Bank and the Capital Area Food Bank collectively serve the hungry across all corners of Maryland and both benefit from the proceeds of the Lawyers’ Campaign Against Hunger.
The campaign is simple. Our Campaign Executive Committee, the working committee whose efforts are behind the results, is responsible for recruiting the Campaign Sponsors, Honorary Committee and Campaign Advocates. Personalized letters are mailed to all attorneys registered in Maryland and donors are listed in a two-page ad in The Daily Record at the conclusion of the campaign.
*Funds raised in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties will benefit the Capital Area Food Bank (www.capitalareafoodbank.org), which services these areas.
