Hunger Action Month

September is Hunger Action Month and the Maryland Food Bank is apart of this nationwide effort to motivate local action to end hunger. Maryland Seafood festival

The festival will take place September 11^th through September 13^th at Sandy Point State Park.  The event features The Capital Crab Soup Cook-off, live music performances of all types, craft booths and local charities selling delicious treats. A $2 donation from every presale ticket will go to the Maryland Food Bank when you select our local charity when purchasing tickets online. In addition, 'Giant Stuff a Boat’ where The Maryland Seafood Festival, in partnership with Giant Food, will collect food donations brought by festival-goers to The Maryland Food Bank. Tickets are available now for $10 online at www.mdseafoodfestival.com.
